Hotcakes for Locals

So, I topped locals with a deck I dubbed "Hotcakes" yesterday, and would like a few suggestions on it if anyone wants to help. It was very hastily thrown together, with tons of borrowed cards, and allowances had to be made for time and what my friends had for me to use, so keep that in mind.

Only need one as a Rooster target. The Madolches do most of the cleanup

One of my close friends has this EXTREME fascination for Madolche...that, and eating Ice Cream while playing competitively with Madolche.
She's very strange...

Anyway, I can help, considering she made this variant a few times, then got bored with it... (That, and I'm also currently working on a build for replays to later be uploaded to Youtube)


Monsters:
-1 Gorilla.. Though, I guess, he can be considered as a tech. Slow MST is slow.
-1 FF Leopard.. This one is actually just preference. I personally dislike running 3, because it's a stupid deaddraw late game.
+1-2 Spell Striker.. A lvl 3, Earth, Warrior-type monster who SS's himself by banishing Spells in the grave.
+?? Any Handtrap.. Generic suggestion is generic.... Handtraps are what made Madolche annoying, because they're Hootcake food.

Spells:
+1 RoTA.. This is really only needed if you decide to throw in Spell Striker, since this card searches it out. It can also grab that Messenger if you (desperately) need it...
-1 Chateau.. This is actually her suggestion. She likes running 1 field and 1 Ticket...says it gives her space for more techs.

Traps:
- Dark Bribe.. Bribe is good, yes...if the format wasn't so backrow oriented
+1-2 Seven Tools.. Seems silly, but it's actually good now. It's better to pay 1k then let your opponent draw if you're going to negate that Mirror Force/Solemn/BTH

Side:
-1 Soul Drain.. I know it's good in very specific match-ups..but it hurts you. Alot. TKing is a better side, because you can dance around him with both the field and Ticket.
+1 Puddingcess.. You only need one.. But she's stupid good against stun-oriented decks, since she likes to blow up everything they have

XYZ Encore.. It's really fun to use, since it can't be chained to
Heraldry Record.. More XYZ hate
Tuner's Scheme.. GeargiaKuri is a meta deck, right? They Synchro alot, right? So stop them from spamming by literally stealing their monsters.


Extra Deck:
-1 Tiara.. 3 is overkill. It really is. You'll most likely win with just 2
-1 Lion Emperor.. If I'm correct, this is the Rank 3 guy... He's just not going to see much use, unless in extreme situations. Best just let him go and replace him with something else.



I don't know what you own, but these are just suggestions.

Like I said, I had to work with what I could borrow. I agree, Gorilla would have been another Bear if I had one. 3 Leopard is needed to increase chances of turn 1 Horse Prince. I have Warwolf, which summons itself for free. And not many spells end up in grave, so no to Striker. The Fire Fists provide tons of Hootcake food, and both handtraps are in the side, no room in main, space is tight. Obviously no RotA. I like a 2-1 split, although I could be persuaded to split it the other way. Personal preference is what that comes down to. The Bribe was supposed to be another Gyokkou that no one had, my friend that let me borrow the stuff threw it in, said it was a "secret tech" xD. It did win me a couple games though. Soul Drain is fine with this deck, as I can play off the Fire Fists while it's out. I generally keep the Madolches in hand until I go off, at which point it won't hurt me. No room for Puddingcess, she was considered. No one has Encores, I don't even know what that Tuner card is. The 3rd Misu and the Lion should be an Ark and an Exciton, but again, working with what was available.

The look of fear after summoning Hootcake after Spirit must be amazing. I would know, I played this deck.

I personally like this build, thought I understand the need for running Gorilla. (If only bear was commooooooooooooon). It checks out except the 3 Tiaramisu. Can you get a 101? mm?

I know, the 3rd was just filler to get to a 15 card extra. I miiiiiigggghhhhht be able to convince him to let me borrow a 101, but no way in hell can I get Exciton.

I love that look~ And Bear isn't expensive anymore, it's just, friend who let me borrow the whole deck only had one extra. I miiiigggghhhhtttt cajole him into a 101
