So what do you think everyone, did koonami do a good job with the banlist?

I think they did a pretty good job, though i'm shocked shaddolls weren't really hit at all but its nothing really major. I'm salty i could have bought trishula (which i somehow knew was gonna come off the banlist) but i spent it on equipment for my studio, I was gonna buy them today since I get paid and look what happens. The banlist comes and I missed out an easy60-80 dollar profit. My luck -_-

Personally I find it strange how the banned both Lavalval Chain and Djinn releaser. Chain had 2 major uses currently, the blue-blooded oni otk and setting up djinn lock. Now with chain banned, sure it stops it from working with future OTK shennanigans, but seriously, limiting chain would have been just fine. Oni OTK is about 90 moves, and with djinn banned, it has even less use currently. Sad to lose an important tool for sending stuff to grave :/

lavalval chain getting hit, sure. It is key in too many otk's being consistent.
They still haven't hit fusion gate...so those retarded otk's still exists.
Djinn was a good hit. little curious about Trish being off the list will have to see how that goes.
Shurit got hit lol, guess nekroz won't be completely consistent anymore
(Shadolls and igknight format incoming)

They banned it to prevent clownblade from utterly dominating TCG.TheBoos2569 wrote:Personally I find it strange how the banned both Lavalval Chain and Djinn releaser. This list sucks. Nekroz barely took a scratch (again), nothing else that should've been hit got hit.
Dragoons at 2? Too bad Nekroz is still going to poop on every single deck. Why can't they do to it what they did to Wind-Ups?

If we can get enough people to play chain burn and not care about new set releases, we can still play yugioh while at the same time be boycotting konami until they do a banlist you're all more satisfied with :^)
I'm happy they are unbanning more stuff, I'd like to see Forceful Sentry and Trap Dustshoot as well. Because turn 1 doesn't have enough of an advantage yet.

not even really sure how they could hit nekroz hard enough without just making the deck utter trash. (Maybe hit Kaleido to 1?)
Removing the Djinn lock is a good start at least
