Was bored so i made this banner

I try to use a render of a card no one ever used, but idk if I actually succeeded ...

It's not too bad but I doubt it would fit with the current theme.

Problems I see with it:
- Color scheme
- Text
- No flow at all
- No depth
- No lighting

nice try though.

Every time someone posts a banner I'm just like "wow that's amazing how did you do it" and everyone else who has experience in GFX is just like "NO, NO, NO, NO, THAT SUCKS, NO, NO, WHY, NO, NO, YOU'RE AWFUL" and I'm just standing there like "kden."

There is lighting, just no shading...thus no visual depth. It's alot better than what most people can do.

On the flip-side, it IS too bright (color scheme), and the test IS kinda corny, considering the focus of the banner itself. And that "flow" I'm guessing Kyo is referring to is probably that...black building..thing...stuff...surrounding Gaia, that looks like it came from the crappy Epic Mickey game.

Tips to make the picture better:
Beveling -- Although it IS a little..cheap to do, it does add some depth and shading to a few objects (without the use of the shadowing tool). And, if done right, can make some objects really pop for the picture, directing the focus

Blues -- This one is actually pretty easy to do... Good pictures have a balance between 2 "shades" of color: Hot and Cold. Sometimes referred to "Blues and Reds." The picture is essentially unbalanced with color; its too "red." So hue some things a little "blue" and it'll start to look better.

Text -- You honestly don't need that second line of text

Positioning -- The wonderful, and sometimes stupidly annoying, rule of thirds... Learn it, make love with it, have children with it, then make love to those children. This is one of the most important aspects of being a visual artist.... No joke. In other words, the text needs to be moved further over to the left, and Gaia needs to be moved further to the right. How much I can't say...blinded by all the bright colors.

That's a tad difficult to do, Xio, considering we're not physically around you....most of that can be learned through a few short youtube videos.
