Democracy?

Ok so for the movie night thing, main admin or leader or whatevr thinks of 4-5 movies and makes a poll to put on the side on the home page, then each week we see which movies have been voted for the most, then watch that movie

Or why not just google the movie?

We'll maybe Wednesday we all send in our suggestions, Thursday to Friday afternoon we poll, then Friday night we watch the winner. If a draw occurs, we narrow it down and postpone.

Or have like a tie breaker, such as either have the main person choosebetween the two, someone flip a coin, or just wtach one this week and the other one the next. but i do like your plan Devon

What the heck are you talking about, it was my idea to begin with and i was just adding to the convosation, similar to a convosation irl. God, i wasnt hurting anything by adding to my own idea. Im starting to get irritated with you guys breathing down my back. Geez, a forum is meant for convosation. did it hurt anyones physcial body? No. Did it hurt anyones emotional well being? No. So stop being so uptight about things geez, its suppose to be fun, not be like a stupid prison where i have to watch what i do. OMG did i just post in the same topic??? omg im going to die now. - Have you double posted? Yes. Has it been 24 hours? Nope, try 7 minutes. So, did you break the rules? Yes.
4. Therefore, my job is to warn you about your infringement.

movie night is fine the way it is now

I_Suck:P, i believe that movie night works by bringing the ideas of many together to get a good pool of genre, and vote from there.

If all the movie ideas were chosen by the leader, they might just choose movies of similar type.

Added to this fact, Usually the movies suggested by people have already been seen by them, how else would they know that it is a good movie to watch? I realize that people could be suggesting ideas from reviews, but personal experience is a better indicator than reviews. Since personal experience is better than reviews, the person in charge of choosing the video choices will just pick movies they have already seen. This causes them to never really fully enjoy movie night, since no matter which movie is picked, the selector has seen it already.

So while your idea has some merits, the way Yeezus set this up is, I believe, much more effective.

Not only does it get other academy members involved in the choice of which video they will watch, it gives them the chance to OFFER a video idea to the pool, thereby sharing their "experience" with others who will watch it during movie night.

Double posting is still against the rules, can't you read, he was telling you not to, the double posted comment did not need its own post was a easily able to be edited inside the first post.

Also, I never threatened you, I speak from past history and personal experience.

Trying to make up your own rules only gives you more enemies, and in a loving family such as XDA, that is really hard to do.

And also, you can't defend yourself, you double posted, there is nothing to defend against when you broke the rules.
