Screw that list, remember how confirmed the Goyo list was just because it was from a guy who got it right a few times before?

They didn't "confirm" goyo at all then.
a DGz member who was very accurate in guessing what the next banlist was had it up.
Guessing isn't reliability.

Seriously, it is a good card, and when used properly, it can be devastating...but it's not like Trish is the only amazing Lvl 9 Synchro. Mist Wurm is boss, I can't believe no one appreciates him for what he is; he bounces up to 3 cards on your opponent's field, and best of all, HIS EFFECT IS MANDATORY. Meaning he evades Bottomless, Compuls, Torrential, etc. He kills Yoke, Dracossack, even temporarily disables backrow Mirror Forces or D. Pris.

But that's just me.

Actually I was hoping for Trishi's revival, but what can you do. I LOVE Mist Wurm, everydeck I assume I can go for 9, he's in there. Lol I understand Mist Wurm's effect is MANDETORY (sometimes its not a good thing), BUT he can't evade Bottomless, Compulse, Torrential, etc. Trishi and Mist Wurm are both Trigger effects and will activate the moment they are summoned, but the opponent can chain to that effect. Trishi is better because it can forces the opponent to play cards, Mist Wurm is good because it removes alot of field threats.

My bad, I worded that terribly. I didn't mean EVADE as in he kills Bottomless before Bottomless activates. I meant EVADE as in his effect still goes through even if he dies from Bottomless or whatever. Wasn't clear. P:

IMO if I'm near end game and I see a level 9.. I'd make Wurm over Trish. It kills XYZ and Synchro and that's pretty **** bad.

It's still not very clear .-. Bottomless can still respond to Mist Wurm as chain link 2 as a minimum and bottomless will be sent to the grave instead of to the hand. If you mean force activations then I can sorta understand. I don't see how Bottomless not kill Mist Wurm unless you have Urgent Turning as Chain Link 2 in a different chain or something.

He means even if Mist Wurm gets Bottomlessed his effect goes through and bounces the 3 targets, assuming none was activated. So, if Mist Wurm targets 2 facedowns and one Monster and one of the facedowns is activated in responce, the other 2 still get bounced. With Trishula, you'd get nothing.

What I meant was, let's say Player A has a facedown Mirror Force, facedown Bottomless, and a face-up Blue-Eyes White Dragon. Player B Synchro Summons Mist Wurm. Since Mist Wurm is mandatory, YES, Bottomless can activate and banish Wurm, killing it, Wurm will nonetheless bounce Blue-Eyes and Mirror Force back.

Wasn't meant to be so complicated.
