Ghost of the Past

Ghost of the Past Event 2z4loy9

This event will be a series of 4 single elimination tournaments with 4 different formats TCG/OCG for the respective formats. The duel will be matches with siding. You may not use cards released after the format. Depending of the format there will be banned decks or cards added to the ban list. You may not change decks after each duel --

PRIORITY EXISTS IN EVERY FORMAT NAY MARCH 2012.

Formats for this event:
April 2005 (Goat format)

This was a format with games that could go into time on their own, ranging from nearly 10 minutes to even an hour long! In this format many powerful cards were restricted to one, and thus were practically all shoved into the same deck, creating Goat Control. This deck became nearly unusable very soon after, though you'll never find people whining about how broken or how bad the format was.. it is very fun.

March 2009 (Blackwing format)

Blackwings are broken again and everyone can hate them again! You get your standard 3 Solemn Judgment, your Trap Dustshoot, Goyo Guardian, Brionac, oh and Royal Oppression is legal.

September 2011 (Plant format)

A legendary format to those who played in it- 3 Reborn Tengu, Glow-Up Bulb, 3 Tour Guide, Brio and Trish still at 1.. it was a lovely, skill-based format.

March 2012 (Hell on Earth format)

This is here because we hate you and want to see you cry. Yes, you can hand loop people, you can abuse the3 Red-Eyes Darkness Metal, you can play with 3 Rescue Rabbit.. whatever you want.
The way this event will chose its winner is in the 4 tournaments 1st place will get 10 points, 2nd will get 5 and 3rd will get 2. the person with the most points at the end of the Event will win.

Prizes:
1st place: 2000 points
2nd place: 1000 points
3rd place: 500 points

-credits ! Prince for the idea
-credits ! Prince for the banner

this will be moved to the events section when the banner and confirmation of the prizes are finished.

Sign ups end on August 12th

i like this event but it would be alot better if you wrote some info on the format or link some kinda wiki page because personally i was only there in the 2012 one

imo would be better if it were just one tourney where you pick a deck from any specified format but sure okay, 4 different tourneys all single elim, if that's what you want.

Future the reason teleDAD isn't in this one is because I plan to do more of these.. and doing all the best at once would be bad.

also 1 tournament vs 4 keeps it going longer and proves whoever topped has more skill. You can win in 1 format but in 4?
